Building a Payroll App for Increasing Employee Loyalty

Our client is an international provider of financial solutions. With headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, the company has offices all over the world and offers financial services to global businesses. It helps organizations enhance their efficiency and avoid expansion pitfalls.

Challenge

As a global provider of payroll services, our client delivers a vast range of financial solutions for businesses, including a web application that enables employees to view their financial statements and payslips. To simplify the delivery of financial data to employees and make it more convenient, the company decided to create native mobile apps for Android and iOS.

The financial company turned to JatApp to develop a payroll solution that keeps employees informed about their current incomes. It took us 6 months to build payroll applications for Android and iOS.

Solution

We developed a payroll app that enables workers to quickly access payslips, annual statements, and net pay data.

Encrypted connection

JatApp implemented HTTPS protocol to encrypt confidential information and protect it from unauthorized parties. The protocol allows for exchanging users’ personal data via a secure channel and preserves the data from being stolen.
Cryptographic algorithms

We inspected the source code for vulnerable cryptographic algorithms and adjusted configurations. Thanks to this, all the algorithms that were known for their weaknesses were replaced with more secure alternatives, while remaining in line with industry standards.

On the home page, the staff can view their net salaries for a specific period. Each employee seamlessly views their payment records and is completely aware of their current financial situation.

Payslips

Team members enjoy full transparency and can instantly access financial records with tax deductions. Also, users can easily download and store all documents they need.
